The onboarding challenge
Bionabu, a rapidly growing global community dedicated to health innovation, faced a critical challenge: scaling their onboarding process and maintaining effective communication with investors and partners.
The existing tools they were using were restrictive and lacked the functionality required to keep up with the pace of growth. Additionally, developing a custom solution in-house would have required significant fundraising efforts, which would have detracted from their primary focus — commercializing their offerings.
Bionabu's leadership was determined to find a tool that could not only streamline their onboarding process but also facilitate investor relations by conveying information quickly and concisely. The tool needed to be functional, flexible, and capable of integrating with their other tech solutions, including an LMS provided by their partner.
Finding the solution with Flowla

"I started using both products, Flowla and the competitor. What I quickly realized was that the competitor, although it offered templates, was way more restrictive. I felt boxed in, like I couldn't adjust things the way I wanted to fit our unique needs."
Although the competitor offered more templates and visually appealing graphics, it fell short in terms of flexibility and functionality. In contrast, Flowla stood out for its simplicity and adaptability, which were critical for Bionabu's needs.

“You guys surprised me because you are more aligned than I was expecting from the beginning. But then, as you know, now we are moving more into the nitty-gritty, into security, and then to know the fact that you guys are on board with that, that was another pleasant surprise. That's why, honestly, I think that your product is very much interlinked to what we're doing.”
The lasting impact
With Flowla fully integrated into their processes, Bionabu noticed a significant shift. Their onboarding process became more efficient, and they could finally focus on scaling their business without the distraction of developing a custom solution. As the next step, they are planning to integrate Flowla even deeper into their processes, using custom URLs so that the experience even more seamless.
Security, always a top concern, was also enhanced. Flowla allowed Bionabu to move into more secure product offerings, opening doors to collaborations with larger, more established organizations.
“We are able to move more into security products and offerings. At least we have a chance to succeed that we can cut some more serious organizations to be honest where without Flowla that would be [hard] to do because that would mean that we need to develop something, meaning delaying our commercialization unnecessarily.”
Looking ahead
Bionabu’s journey with Flowla is just beginning. As they continue to grow, they see Flowla as an essential tool for their success. It helps them onboard clients, engage investors, and move their mission forward with confidence.
