Q: What have you been adding to your stack recently?
The CRM, we're still very much investing on and letting go of the siloed tools of CS platforms. So I dropped Gainsight, I dropped Totango, ChurnZero. And I'm avoiding getting into any of the rest that are out there that are approaching me. I don't think it's the right way to go as a company that wants to actually scale.
Q: I enjoy asking about controversial renewals. Anything comes to mind?
I was just yesterday in the Asana summit they had here in London. And the big things that we were discussing is that we will renew Asana. But this year is very critical to make sure if it's valuable or not.
One of the competitions that are coming up and it's being pushed to me from the company is Notion. Notion came in through knowledge that R&D we're using and now they want Notion to be knowledge for all the company. And that's actually putting at risk Allego that we have as well. They're saying if half of the company is already using Notion, why can't we use Notion for knowledge for all of the company and also make it our project management platform?
Q: Any new solutions you have in mind on the to-try list?
If we go down the route of saying again, we want simplicity and source of truth, we are trying to narrow it down to one system that is on all of it.
We are very, very much partnering with now OpenAI and not in terms of the LLM of GPT that we all have, but actually running everything. So our databases, all the systems are in one place, so we can actually utilize Codex to actually be that place to go, ask the questions, get what you need.
