"I dropped Outreach for Lemlist"

Co-founder & CEO at Qobra
Jun 2026

TL;DR — KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • Outreach was dropped for one reason: no native LinkedIn integration. His reps prospect on LinkedIn, so they needed a platform that ran email and LinkedIn sequences in the same place. Lemlist does that.
  • Sales Navigator is the reluctant renewal. Antoine would cut it tomorrow if he could find a solid alternative for B2B AEs. He hasn't found one yet.
  • Productboard is gone after consolidation. They were already running Notion and Linear, so Productboard had no unique role left to fill.

TRANSCRIPT

Q: Are there tools you keep but didn't really love renewing?

I think every year renewing Sales Navigator just feels like a pain. If we could drop it, we would. But it's too much needed for AEs in B2B, at least.

Q: What have you been adding to your stack recently?

We added Juicebox in recruiting. We also added Peec AI for geo monitoring, and we added Lemlist for outbound campaigns.

Erdem: Lemlist, did you use it to replace another solution?

Yes, we replaced Outreach. Outreach basically did not have the capability to handle LinkedIn messages, and we really needed it because our reps prospect using LinkedIn. So we needed a platform natively integrated with LinkedIn, and Lemlist delivers.

Q: What have you dropped from your stack recently?

We dropped LinkedIn Recruiter, we dropped Outreach, and we also dropped Productboard.

Erdem: Productboard, did you replace that with anything?

We were already using Notion, but now it sits in Notion. We've been using Linear for a while as well. So we did not need a specific product management tool.

Q: Are there any AI tools you're looking to try these days?

One that I would love to try is Pylon for customer support. We're on Intercom, and I'd love to try Pylon to see if it beats Intercom.

What's in your stack?

Tell us what you're keeping and what you're cutting loose.
