"Profound: instant leads from ChatGPT."

TL;DR — KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • The marketing team added Profound to optimise for AEO/GEO and are already seeing inbound from ChatGPT.
  • An unnamed AI video personalisation tool (starts with S) got cut after prospects said it felt weird. Zero conversion, negative social feedback.
  • Green Security built a homegrown platform that scans their partner ecosystem, catches uncredentialed vendors entering hospitals, and auto-follows up with both the health system and the vendor. Hundreds flagged in a single week. Too specific a problem to buy a solution for.

TRANSCRIPT

Q: What have you been adding to your stack recently?

Our marketing team just recently added Profound, which is a great tool to optimise for AEO/GEO. We've already seen quite a few results coming from ChatGPT.

Q: What have you been cutting from your stack?

One thing I recently removed was this tool I was getting basically zero conversion on. I won't say the name because several other AEs follow me on LinkedIn. But essentially you record one templated video and it sends that customised video to leads on LinkedIn. I actually got a lot of — I wouldn't say negative feedback, but some people were like, "Ah, that's kind of weird." Because any time I don't get a response from a lead generation tactic, I'll say "Hey, why didn't you respond?" And a lot of people didn't like the video.

Erdem: Does it start with an S?

It does.

Q: Is there an AI tool you're desperate to try?

There's a tool called Glean. Seems super amazing. I'm actually connected with a few of the AEs there. I just don't want to book a demo and wait. So I haven't done anything with it, but I desperately want to try it.

Q: Let's talk about your homegrown solutions.

My company is in the world of compliance with vendors, helping hospitals make sure that vendors are credentialed when they come in. We built a platform that actually scans all the visits across all of our ecosystem and follows up with both the health system and the vendor when we find someone that hasn't been properly registered. Hundreds of people in just a week are kind of impacted by this.

Erdem: The use case is so specific that if you searched for a vendor to do it, they'd either be too expensive or too irrelevant.

100%.
